Call Pickup
CallPickup allows you to answer a call that is ringing on a co-worker ’sphone by redirecting the call to your
phone.
Youmight use Call Pickup if you share call-handling tasks with co-workers.
Thereare two ways you can pick up a call:
1Pickup—Allowsyou to answera callthat is ringing onanother phone withinyour callpickup group.
Ifmultiple calls are available for pickup, yourphone picksup theoldest call first (the callthat has been
ringingfor thelongest time).
2GroupPickup—Allows you toanswer acall on aphone thatis outside yourcall pickup group by:
aUsinga group pickup number (provided by your system administrator).
bDialingthe ringing phone’s number if the destination user’s direct number is present in one of the
currentuser's associatedgroups.
Yoursystem administrator sets up the call pickup group you are in and the call pickup buttons depending on
yourcall-handling needs andwork environment.
Toaccess Call Pickup:
Procedure
Step 1 Pressthe center button of the Navigation Pad button.
Step 2 Navigatefor the “PickUp”and “GPickUp” options.
Conference
Conferenceallows you to talk simultaneously with multiple parties. When you are talking on a call, use
Conferenceto dial another party and add them to the call. You can remove individual participants from the
conferenceif your phonesupports thefeature. Use hookflashto setup aconference call.
End a Call
• Hang up the handset.
• If you are using a speakerphone, press the Speaker button.
