Enabling Presence for Internal Lines
Perform the following steps to enable the router to accept incoming presence requests from internal
watchers and SIP trunks.
Restrictions
•A presentity can be identified by a directory number only.
•BLF monitoring indicates the line status only.
•Instant Messaging is not supported.

Step1 enable
Example:
Router> enable
Enables privileged EXEC mode.
•Enter your password if prompted.
Step2 configure terminal
Example:
Router# configure terminal
Enters global configuration mode.

Example:
Router(config)# sip-ua
Enters SIP user-agent configuration mode to configure the
user agent.
