At the LINK menu,
Double-click E-MAIL or highlight E-MAIL and then
press the ENTER button and you can see the E-MAIL
menu like the left picture.
Click the X button or press the ESC button to exit from
this screen.
8.4.3.1. SEND E-MAIL
Select the e-mail notification on or off by clicking the left button of the mouse on the value. Or in
case of using the remote controller or the front panel buttons, highlight SEND E-MAIL and press
the ENTER button and then move the cursor to the desired value using the , buttons and
press the ENTER button. The default is OFF.
8.4.3.2. E-MAIL ADDRESS SETUP
Enter the DVR’s e-mail address as assigned by the network administrator, or create one that
conforms with the specification of the Internet Service Provider.
NOTE:
You have to set up the E-MAIL ADDRESS 1 to use the e-mail notification function
Double-click one of E-MAIL ADDRESS 1~5 or highlight
one of E-MAIL ADDRESS 1~5 and then press the
ENTER button and you can see the E-MAIL ADDRESS
input screen like the left picture.
Enter the e-mail address by clicking the mouse or
moving the cursor using the , ,, buttons and
pressing the ENTER button.
Click the X button or press the ESC button to save and
exit from this screen.
If you want to delete the characters entered, using the
space button.
NOTE : Delete is erased from the front.
NOTE:
The Server can notify the following messages via Email.
a) Alarm
b) Power On
c) HDD Fail
d) V-Loss
Please note that this unit doesn’t notify the Motion event type message due to incapability of large
file size and frequent motions.
