Your microTalk Professional is equipped with Auto Squelch, which automatically shuts off weak trans- missions and unwanted noise due to terrain con- ditions or if you have reached your range limit.

Maximum Range Extender

Auto squelch can be temporarily removed to allow all signals to enter (Maximum Range Extender).

External Microphone/Speaker Jack

Your microTalk Professional 2-Way Radio can be fitted with a variety of accessories, (not included) freeing your hands for other tasks.

Press and hold Button to allow all signals to enter.

Auto Monitor

When the signal you want to hear is consistently weak, you may place the radio in Maximum Range mode without having to constantly hold the button: Press and hold the Button for five seconds. You will hear an audible beep confirma- tion. To return to normal operation,momentarily

press the Button again or change channels.

Insert plug into SPK/MIC hole on side of unit.
