The CD player supports audio discs, CD-R and CD-RW. Do not attempt to load CD-ROM, CDi, VCDs, DVDs or data CDs in this device.

Though this device is able to read CD-R and CD- RW discs, disks which are scratched, scuffed or of otherwise poor quality may not be read. Failure to play back CD-R or CD-RW disks does not necessar- ily indicate a device malfunction.

To use the CD Player

 Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR to CD. The display will briefly indicate your selection.

 To open the CD player door, raise it by the corner marked OPEN/CLOSE.

 Insert a CD, CD-R or CD-RW disc with the printed surface facing up. Gently press the player door to close it.

 Press PLAY/PAUSE to begin playback. Press again to pause/resume.

 To stop CD playback, press STOP.

CD playback stops automatically when the CD compartment is opened, the radio function is selected, or at completion of the final track.
