USB Driver Instal lation
It is not necessary to install the USB driver if your computer is running
Microsoft Windows ME/2000/ XP or newer, or Macintosh OS X. Co mputers
running these operatin g system s will recogni ze your player automatic ally
when connected.
If your computer is running Wind ows 98 SE:
Insert the In stallation CD into your comput er’s CD or DVD drive. Make
sure to place the mini-CD in th e center, recessed well o f the drive tray.
Navigate to MY COMPUTER and doub le-click on the C D/DVD drive icon
(usually “D:”).
Double-click on the folder “Win98 USB Dr ivers” and then on the folder
“english”.
Double-click on the S ETUP ico n (SETUP.EXE) to star t the USB drive r
installation program.
Follow the on -screen in structions to complete the installation and the n
restart your computer.
Mini-CDs should on ly be used in n ormal tray-lo ading CD/DVD
drives. Mini- CDs may be used in s lot-loading drives with the
proper adapter; p lease contac t your c omputer or drive manu -
facturer for more informatio n.
