MUSIC MODE
Enter Music mode to play your MP 3, WMA, or WAV audio les.
To enter Music mode, select and conrm MUS IC in the Main menu.
Browsing Your Music Library
Upon entering Music mode, you will be able to br owse your music library by the following cate go-
ries: Artist, Album, Song , Genre, Year, and Playlist.
Press the UP/DOWN keys to highlight a categ ory and press RIGHT to enter.
Within a category, highlight a track an d press RIGHT to begin play.
To arrange your music in t hese categories, the MP-C945 reads information (metadata) stored in
each of your music les. Many media management programs (e.g., Windows Media Player 10) can
generate this information automatically fr om the internet. You can also enter information manually
on your computer if necessar y.
If a music le has no associated categor y information, it will be listed by its l e name
under the “Song” category.
Play All
The rst ite m within a category is “Play All”. “ Play All” will play all t racks within t he current cat -
egory.
Playlists
Playlists are an easy way to organize and store your favorite music mixes so you can listen to them
whenever you want.
Playlists can be created with Wind ows Media Player (please see the Windows Me dia Player
section for more information).
After a playlist is synchronized wi th your player using Windows Media Player, i t can be ac-
cessed by browsing the Playlist cate gory.
