5.8Connector Cover

✎The connector cover is available with carbon finish for Evo Notebook N1020v and N1000v models and silver finish for Presario 1500 models, and are included in the Miscellaneous Plastics/Hardware Kit, spare part number 285541-001.

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).

2.Turn the computer bottom side up with the rear panel facing forward.

3.Remove the two TM2.5 × 5.0 screws 1 that secure the connector cover to the base enclosure (Figure 5-15).

4.Open the connector cover 2.

5.Remove the connector cover from the base enclosure 3.

Reverse the preceding procedures to install the connector cover.
