SERVICIO Y AJUSTES

Control de la transmisión

Consulte la sección “Ajustes finales” de las instrucciones de montaje para ajustar el control de la transmisión. Para controlar aún más el

ajuste, proceda de la siguiente manera:

1. Con la máquina quitanieve inclinada hacia delante (asegúrese de vaciar la gasolina o de colocar una película plástica debajo del tapón de llenado del combustible si la máquina ya ha sido puesta en funcionamiento), saque la cubierta del marco ubicada bajo la máquina quitanieve, para lo cual debe sacar los tornillos autor- roscantes. Vea la figura 18.

2. Tras soltar el control de la transmisión, debe existir una separación de 1/8 pulg. entre la rueda de fricción y la placa de la transmisión en todas las posiciones de la palanca de cambios.

3. Con el control de la transmisión engranado, la rueda de fricción debe hacer contacto con la placa de la transmisión. Vea la figura 21.

4. Si es necesario realizar ajustes, afloje la tuerca hexagonal inferior

 

del soporte de posicionamiento del cable de la transmisión, y haga

 

girar dicho soporte hacia arriba o hacia abajo según sea necesario.

inferior para asegurar el soporte una vez alcanzado el ajuste

 

correcto.

 

5.Vuelva a ensamblar la tapa del marco y regrese la unidad a su posición de operación.

NOTA: si colocó plástico debajo del tapón de llenado del combustible, asegúrese de sacarlo ahora.
