Toconvertto side discharge,makesuregrasscatcheris offof the unit, the rearmulchingbaffleis installed,and reardischargedoor isclosed.

1.Onthe sideof the mower,liftthe mulchingplug.

2.Slidechutehooksunderhingepinon mulchingplugassembly. SeeFigure7.

NOTE:Do not removeside mulchingplugat anytime,evenwhen you arenot mulching.
