OPENING CARTON
1.Cuteachcornerof the cartonverticallyfromtop to bottom.
2.Removeall looseparts.
3.Removeloosepackingmaterial.
REMOVING UNIT FROM CARTON
1.Liftunit fromthe rearto detachit fromunderlyingcartonmaterial androllunit out of carton.
2.Checkcartonthoroughlyfor anyotherlooseparts.

Attaching The Handle
1.Removeany packingmaterialwhichmaybebetweenupperand lowerhandles.
a.Pullupandbackon upperhandleas shownin Figure1. Makecertainthe lowerhandleis seatedsecurelyintothe handlemountingbrackets.Do notcrimpcableswhile lifting the handleup.
b.Tightenstarknobsto secureupperhandleto lowerhandle.
Makesurethateach carriagebolt is seatedproperlyinthe handle.
2.Locatethe hairpinclip onthe weldpinon eachsideof lower handle.
a.Removehairpinclipfromthishole. Usinga pairof pliers, inserthairpinclip intothe holeonpinclosestto thebracket. SeeFigure2. Repeaton otherside.
b.Inserta carriagebolt fromthe hardwarepackintothe upper holeonthe handlemountingbracket.Securewithone plastic wingnut,also includedin thehardwarepack.Repeaton othersidewith remainingitemsfromhardwarepack.
NOTE:Makecertainthe drivecable is routedaroundthe outsideand abovethe lowerhandleso it does not interferewithattachingthe grass bag.The chutedoorhas beendesignedto movethe starterropeout of thewayof the bagwhenthe chutedooris opened.
