The “SELFTEST IS ON; ON-BATTERY SELFTEST” screen indicates the on-
battery selftest is active with the unit internally switched to derive power from the
internal battery pack (which should already be connected within the unit). The
BATT IN USE LED is also lit during this test.

The “SELFTEST RESULT: TEST HAS PASSED” screen indicates the selftest ran
successfully to completion. If the message TEST HAS FAILED is displayed, please
contact Crestron Technical Support.

The “DATAPORT: USB” screen indicates whether the USB cable is connected or
disconnected. In the example screen below, the USB cable is not connected.

During the selftest, the unit will also test to determine if an optional external battery
pack (available from APC) is connected. If no external battery pack is connected to
the unit, the message NO EXTERNAL BATTERY CONNECTED will be displayed,
as shown below.
