information on the CNXRMIRD refer to the latest revision of the CNXRMIRD

Slot 9: C2I-MC2-FRONT PANEL
The Slot 9 MC2E front panel symbol represents internal hardware and is not user
programmable (not supported in this device).
Programming the MC2E as a Slave Device
To incorporate the MC2E as a system slave, locate the MC2E Remote Cresnet
Processing symbol in the Device library and drag it to the C2NET-Device slot of the
master device. In this example, we are using a PRO2 as the master. The PRO2
system view shows the MC2E as a slave device in slot 9 with a Net ID of 03
(assuming that no other C2NET devices are present as shown in the following
illustration).
C2Net Device, Slot 9
NOTE: The first device in a system is preset with a NET ID of 03, when its symbol
is added to the C2NET-Device slot. Additional devices are assigned different NET
ID numbers as they are added.
MC2E Detail in Configuration Manager
To view the available slots in the MC2E, expand the MC2E Remote Cresnet
Processing device in Slot 9. The following diagram shows the available slots of an
MC2E operating in slave mode.
