Battery Back-Up
This Model includes a battery
1Press in on the locking tab to remove the BATTERY COVER (25).
DC Battery Compartment
<For Backup>
2Attach a 9V battery to the battery contacts as shown.
3Tuck the battery back into the battery compartment and replace the battery cover.
If the power is interrupted, the clock and alarm times will remain stored but the display will be blank to conserve power. The display will come back on and show the correct time once power has been restored.
Note: In the event of a power failure, the alarm will default to buzzer mode until power is restored.
The life of the battery will depend on how often you lose power and the length of power outages. It is recommended to replace the battery every
