9. POWER TAKE OFF (PTO)
Ex2900 / 3200 Operator's Manual
Follow the instructions below when using the Power Take
Off (PTO) when the tractor is in the parked state (for
example, for pump, for post hole digger).
In this mode, only the Rear Power Take Off (PTO) can be
operated, the Mid-Power Take Off (PTO) is inoperable.
Engage the parking brake securely, and keep the
transmission in the neutral position.
IMPORTANT:
Remember that while the operator is not seated on the
operator's seat, the Mid-Power Take Off (PTO) cannot
be operated though the Rear Power Take Off (PTO)
remains operative. When the operator attempts to
engage the Mid-Power Take Off (PTO) while not seated
on the operator's seat, the safety interlock system will
engage and the engine will stop: as a result, all the
moving components will stop moving.
1. Engage the parking brake securely.
2. Chock the tires.
3. Move the range shift lever to the NEUTRAL position.
