After logging in, it will automatically show the default settings. If you need to make changes to the configuration, please ask your service provider for correct settings.

PPPoE Configuration

The PPPoE is another connection method used by the Router is Point-to-Point- Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) as defined in RFC 2516. Use the PPPoE Configuration window to define the PVC by configuring the VPI and VCI values given to you by your DSL service provider. PPP also allows you to use the security protocols PAP or CHAP to help protect your network from unwanted intruders. This window is used to assign the user name and password used to access your network or server. When you have set the correct VPI and VCI and entered the user name and password, click the Connect button to establish the ADSL connection to your ISP’s network. The window is also used to terminate the Router’s ADSL connection and change connection methods.

To bring up the PPPoE Configuration window, click on the PPPoE Configuration menu button and the following screen will appear:
