Installation Instructions

Remove the door to make the range easier to move during the installation process.

WARNING

•Do not attempt to disengage the hinge catches with the door removed from the oven. The hinge springs could release causing personal injury.

•Do not lift or carry the oven door by the door handle.

1.Open the door to its fully opened position.

2.Use a flat blade screwdriver to rotate the catch over the retaining arm on both hinges.

3.Lift the oven door to about a 15° angle from the vertical position.

4.Hold the door with both hands just below the handle. Pull the door up and away from the oven.

(Model DR30GIS/DR30GIFS only)

If the range will be installed with the partial side panels removed:

1.Remove the three screws just below the oven opening that hold the kick panel in place.

2.Pull the kick panel straight out to snap it off of the range.

3.Remove the three screws that hold the side panel in place as shown.

4.Push the side panel toward the back of the range to snap it out of the control panel and remove it.
