BEFORE INSTALLATION INFORMATION

WARNING:

Disconnect power before installing. Before turning power on, be sure that all controls are in the “off” position. Read entire instructions before proceeding. Installation must comply with all applicable codes.

Tested in accordance with ANSI Z21.1 Standard for Household Cooking Gas Appliances.

Check local building codes for the proper method of cooktop installation. In the absence of local codes the cooktop should be installed in accordance with the National Fuel Code #Z223-1 and National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No. 70.

PROPANE GAS INSTALLATION:

The unit is shipped ready for use with natural gas or LP. Verify correct unit type with the correct gas. It may be converted for use by a qualified service technician or installer. Be sure the unit being installed is correct for the type of gas being used.

CAUTION:

When connecting the unit to propane gas, make certain the propane gas tank is equipped with its own high- pressure regulator; in addition, the pressure regulator supplied with the unit must be on the inlet gas pipe of the unit. The maximum gas pressure to this appliance is not to exceed 14.0 inches water column from propane gas tank pressure regulator.
