Procedure

1Using the alignment posts, place the I/O board on the palm-rest assembly.

2Slide the I/O-board cable into the I/O board connector and press down on the

connector latch to secure the cable.

Postrequisites

1Replace the hard drive. See "Replacing the Hard Drive" on page 20

2Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 13.

3Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 11.
