20 Replacing the Daughter Board

Procedure
1Connect the speakers cable to the connector on the daughter board.
2Align the screw holes on the daughter board with the screw holes on
the computer base.
3Replace the screws that secure the daughter board to computer base.
4Connect the daughter-board cable to the connector on the daughter board.
Postrequisites
1Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 33.
2Replace the palm-rest assembly.

3Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 23.
4Replace the optical drive.

5Replace the memory module(s).
