To change the default settings on the operator panel:

Turn on the printer.1.

Change the operator panel settings.2.

Use the Arrow buttons to scroll to the MAINTENANCE, and then press the Select button .3.

Use the Arrow buttons to scroll to the Set Defaults, and then press the Select button .4.

Use the Arrow buttons to scroll to the Use Current, and then press the Select button .

The current settings on the operator panel are saved as the new default settings.

Menu settings marked with an asterisk (*) indicate the active settings. You can restore the original printer

settings, often referred to as the factory default settings.

Make sure the printer is on.1.
