Connecting the Computer to the APR
Usethe following instructions to connect your computer to the APR.
1. Save all your work, and exit all application programs.
2. Shutdown the computer.
3. Ifyou have not already done so, connect the AC adapter to the connector on the
APR(see Figure 1-1), and plug the AC power cable into an AC power source.
4. Placethe back of the computer over the APR platform, aligning the sidesof the
computerbetween the platform wings (see Figure 1-2).

5. Carefullylower the computer onto the APR platform, as shown in Figure 1-2,
untilthe APR and computer docking connectors engage.
Whenyou feel or hear a click, the computer is latched to the APR and the
dockingconnectors are fully engaged.
NOTICE: If the external devices that are connected through the APR are not
functioning properly, make sure the computer and APR are properly
connected by pressing down firmly on the two corners of the computer
nearest the APR docking connector.
6. Turnon the computer.
