No almacene ni deje el ordenador ni la batería cerca de una fuente de calor como un radiador, una chimenea, una estufa, un calentador eléctrico u otro tipo de generador de calor ni los exponga en ningún caso a temperaturas superiores a 60 ºC (140 ºF). Al alcanzar una temperatura excesiva, los acumuladores de la batería podrían explotar o incluso quemarse.

No deseche la batería del ordenador echándola al fuego o mezclándola con los desperdicios domésticos. Los acumuladores de la batería podrían explotar. Deshágase de la batería agotada de acuerdo con las instrucciones del fabricante o póngase en contacto con la agencia local de eliminación de residuos para recibir instrucciones al respecto. Deshágase de una batería agotada o dañada lo antes posible.
