Replacing the Display Assembly

Procedure

1Slide the palm-rest assembly on the display assembly.

2Align the screw holes on the display hinges with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.

3Replace the screws that secure the display hinges to the palm-rest assembly.

4Press down on the palm rest assembly to close the display.

5Route the touch-panel cable, display cable, and camera cable through the routing guides.

6Connect the touch-panel cable and display cable to the system board.

7Connect the camera cable to I/O board.

8Connect the antenna cables to the wireless card.

9Adhere the Mylar to the wireless card.

2Replace the base-cover assembly. See "Replacing the Base-Cover Assembly" on page 12.
