Key Pad Lock Feature

Locate the blower switch by opening lower louver on fireplace. Blower switch is located at lower left inside louver door.

The GA3700TA thermostat-controlled blower has a variable speed control with an ON/OFF switch. The blower will start when the thermostat senses a sufficient increase in firebox temperature. The GA3700 variable speed blower also has an ON/OFF switch built into the variable speed control.

Safety Features

When away from home for an extended period of time or as a child safety feature to prevent accidental ignition of the fire- place, the receiver ON/OFF/REMOTE switch should be in the OFF position.

Auto Shutoff Feature

1.If the average room temperature exceeds 82 degrees Fahr- enheit (28 degrees Centigrade), the hand-held remote con- trol will perform a safety override and shut the fireplace off. This feature is not available in the MANU mode.

INSPECTING BURNERS

Check pilot flame pattern and burner flame patterns often.

PILOT FLAME PATTERN

Figure 38 on page 19 shows a correct pilot flame pattern. Figure 39 on page 19 shows an incorrect pilot flame pattern. The incorrect pilot flame is not properly heating the thermocouple. When the thermocouple cools, the heater will shut down.
