IGNITOR

1.Desmonte el motor, el montaje del motor y el resguardo del ventilador (consulte Motor, pasos 1 a 6, página 7).

2.Quite el cable naranja del ignitor del mismo.

3.Quite el tornillo de montaje del ignitor de la cabeza posterior usando un destornillador para tuercas o un destornillador estándar (consulte la figura 11).

4.Extraiga el ignitor de la cabeza posterior.

5.Instale el nuevo ignitor. Fije el ignitor a la cabeza posterior con el tornillo de montaje.

6.Conecte el cable del ignitor.

7.Verifique que la cavidad entre el electrodo del ignitor y la boquilla sea de 3,3 a 3,8 mm (0,13 a 0,15 pul) (consulte la figura 12).

8.Pruebe a ver si se produce una chispa.

ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que el calentador esté desco- nectadodelsuministrodepropa- no. El calentador podría arder y causar quemaduras graves.

Conecte el cable de extensión y observe si se produce una chispa entre el electrodo del ignitor y la boquilla.

9.Coloque el motor el montaje del motor y el resguardo del ventilador en la parte trasera de la cubierta del calentador (consulte Motor, pasos 14 a 18, página 7).
