Motor

Asegúrese que su alimentación de corriente concuerde con la marcada en la placa de identificación. 120 volts AC significa que puede operar su herramienta únicamente con corriente alterna y nunca con corriente directa. Disminuciones en el voltaje mayores a 10% harán que la herramienta pierda fuerza y se sobrecaliente. Todas las herramientas DeWalt se han probado en fábrica; si ésta no operara, verifique la toma de corriente del sitio.

Interruptor

Para encender la herramienta, oprima el interruptor de paleta que va a lo largo de la herramienta, como se observa en la figura 4. Para apagar la herramienta, suelte la paleta.

Portabrocas

Abra las mordazas del portabrocas alineando el orificio del portabrocas con una abertura de la guarda del portabrocas e la llave a través de la abertura y dentro del portabrocas (figura 1). Inserte el vástago de la broca aproximadamente 19 mm (3/4”) dentro del portabrocas. Es muy importante apretar el portabrocas desde los tres orificios. Para sacar una broca, gire el portabrocas en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj, desde uno de los orificios.

Porta llave (figura 2)

1.Empuje el extremo del porta llave que tiene dos orificios a través de la ranura que se encuentra en el otro extremo.

2.Deslice el aro que se formó sobre la clavija y apriételo alrededor del cable.

3.Pase los extremos del asa de la llave a través de los dos orificios del extremo del porta llave.

Remoción del portabrocas

Inserte el extremo recto del mango de la llave del portabrocas dentro de éste como se observa en la figura 3. Aplique un golpe seco a la llave con un marro de madera o un objeto similar en sentido opuesto
