Power ON/OFF

Press Playback or REC button for 2seconds, device will power up and LCD screen will be displayed as shown below.

If no buttons are pressed within 1 minute, device will power off automatically to conserve power.

Power off manually: Press "RADIO/OFF" for 5 seconds.

We recommend that you to set up the time right after inserting the supplied batteries.

If you do not set time, you cannot access certain functions such as ALARM/PLAY, TIMER/REC and etc.

With only one setting, you can see time on screen by using the backup function (30 minutes) even if power is off. It needs to be reset when device is not in use for a long time.

How to Use HOLD Switch

If HOLD switch is placed upward, all buttons will be locked out except the DISPLAY switch.

Slide HOLD switch upward if you want to insure recording or when you want to lock all buttons.

Before use, check the HOLD switch and slide it downward, and then, turn on the power.
