The following instructions describe how to reset RECOVER to restore satellite TV viewing by tuning your TV (or VCR) to channel 3, 4, and other inputs.

Installers use Remote control discrete power ON and power OFF IR commands when programming macro commands into universal remotes. Using an ON-only or OFF-only command is more effective than a toggle ON/OFF command when trying to make sure the satellite receiver is reliably in one state or the other.
