DEFROST CHART

Meat setting

FOOD	SETTING	AT BEEP	SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

BEEF			Meat of irregular shape and large, fatty cuts of meat
			should have the narrow or fatty areas shielded with
			foil at beginning of a defrost sequence.
Ground beef	MEAT	Remove thawed portions with fork.	Do not defrost less than 1/4 lb.
(bulk)		Turn over. Return remainder to oven.	Freeze in doughnut shape.
Ground beef	MEAT	Separate and rearrange.	Do not defrost less than 4 oz. patties.
(patties)			Depress center when freezing.
Round steak	MEAT	Turn over. Cover warm areas with	Place on a microwavable roasting rack.
		aluminum foil.
Tenderloin	MEAT	Turn over. Cover warm areas with	Place on a microwavable roasting rack.
steak		aluminum foil.
Stew beef	MEAT	Remove thawed portions with fork.	Place on a microwavable roasting rack.
		Separate remainder.
		Return remainder to oven.

LAMB
Cubes for	MEAT	Remove thawed portions with fork.	Place in a microwavable baking dish.
stew		Return remainder to oven.
Chops	MEAT	Separate and rearrange.
(1-inch thick)			Place on a microwavable roasting rack.

PORK
Chops	MEAT	Separate and rearrange.	Place on a microwavable roasting rack.
(1/2-inch thick)
Hot dogs	MEAT	Separate and rearrange.	Place on a microwavable roasting rack.
