2Connect a standard AV cable (not included) to the AV VIDEO OUT jack on the VCR, camcorder, or game.
Connecting a computer
Tip: Some computers have an HDMI connector, which can be used for a better picture and sound.
To connect a computer:
1Make sure that your TV’s power cord is unplugged and the computer is turned off.

2Connect a VGA cable to the VGA jack on the computer, then connect the other end of the cable to the PC IN VGA jack on the back of your TV.

3Connect the other end of the cable to the Y (green) jack on the COMPONENT/AV IN panel on the back of your TV.
4Connect an audio cable to the AV AUDIO OUT jacks on the device.
5Connect the other end of the audio cable to the L and R jacks on the COMPONENT/AV IN panel on the back of your TV.
To play from the VCR, camcorder, or game:
1Turn on your TV, then press INPUT. The Source List menu opens.
2 Pressorto select AV, then press ENTER.
3 Turn on the VCR, insert a videotape, then press PLAY on the VCR.

Turn on the camcorder or game, and set it to the correct output mode. See the camcorder’s or game’s user guides for more information.
3Connect an audio cable to the AUDIO OUT jack on the computer, then connect the other end of the cable to the AUDIO jack on the back of your TV.
Note: The audio cable should have a stereo mini plug.
To play video from a computer:
1Turn on your TV, then press INPUT. The Source List menu opens.
2 Press or to select VGA, then press ENTER.
3Turn on the computer, then adjust the display properties, if necessary.
Connecting headphones
To connect headphones:
•Connect the headphones to the headphone jack on the side of your TV.

Caution: Loud noise can damage your hearing. When using headphones, use the lowest volume setting that still lets you hear the sound.
Note: The TV mutes automatically when you plug in the headphones.
