Menu items that are not selectable are grayed out. Menus in this manual are described in TV mode, unless otherwise indicated.

Navigating the menus

Press to display the main menu.

Press to select menu items, to adjust selected items, or to move the on-screen cursor left or right.

Press to select the menu items.

Press to confirm your selection or enter a sub-menu.

Press to return to the previous screen.

Adjusting basic settings

To adjust basic settings:

3Press or to highlight an option, then press ENTER to enter the sub-menu. You can select:

•Parental Controls—Control which programs/movies your children can watch, based on industry ratings.

•Language—Set the menu language .

•Time—Set the clock and sleep timer.

•Closed Caption—Turn closed captioning on or off. Also lets you set closed caption options.

•Input Labels—Create a unique name for a device connected to your TV’s input jacks.

•Computer Settings—Adjust picture settings to optimize a computer display. (This menu becomes available only when a computer display is connected to the television.)

•Reset to Default—Reset most TV settings for the current

source to factory default values.

4Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or press EXIT to close the menu.

Press to close the menu.
