Battery indicator control system fault display
The battery indicator also provides a diagnostic display. When a control system fault occurs, a set of lights will flash. Use the picture at left below to identify the fault code (the number of lights flashing), then see the system fault and appropriate action at the picture's right.
The following system faults will prevent the wheelchair from driving.

Low battery | The battery needs charging or there is a bad connection to the |
voltage | batteries. Check the connections to the batteries and the controller |
| power connector. If the connections are good, try charging the battery. |

Left motor | The left motor has a bad connection. Ensure that the motor is |
disconnected | connected properly and the controller connectors are secure. If |
| problem persists, see dealer. (Check motor brushes) |
|
|
Left motor | The left motor has a short circuit to a battery connection. See dealer. |

|
Right motor | The right motor has a bad connection. Ensure that the motor is |
disconnected | connected properly and the controller connectors are secure. If |
| problem persists, see dealer. |

Right motor | The right motor has a short circuit to a battery connection. See dealer. |

|
Inhibit active | The battery charger is preventing the controller from driving the |
| wheelchair. Disconnect charger from wheelchair. |
|
|
Possible | A joystick fault is indicated. Ensure that joystick is in neutral before |
joystick fault | turning ON/OFF switch on. |

Possible | A controller fault is indicated. Ensure that all Controller connections |

Possible | The park brakes have a bad connection. Check the park brake & |
