OPERATION

-Provide all operators of this equipment with the Operator's Manual and instructions for safe operation.

-Before starting the unit, equip yourself and any other person working within the 15M (50 ft.) Safety Zone with the required Protective Equipment and clothing.

-During operation, the complete unit, especially the engine and the gear housing may become very hot, too hot to touch. Avoid contact during and immediately after operation.

-Do not operate this product indoors or in inadequately ventilated areas.

STARTING COLD ENGINE

The tines should not move at idle. If tines move, readjust carburetor according to "Carburetor Adjustment" instructions in this manual or see your ECHO Dealer, otherwise serious personal injury may result.

1.STOPSWITCH-START.

Move Stop Switch (A) to START position.

2.CLOSECHOKE-COLDSTART.

Move choke (B) to START (closed) position. Throttle must remain at idle for starting.

3.PRIMER-PUMPBULB.

Pump primer bulb (C) 10 times, until fuel is visible in the “Clear” fuel return line.
