•La señal grabada en un disco compacto se lee mediante un rayo láser. Por consiguiente, nada toca la superficie del disco. • No pegue trozos de papel ni cinta aislante sobre la superficie del disco compacto; igualmente, absténgase de escribir o rayar ninguna de sus caras.

• Los discos giran a velocidades elevadas en el interior del aparato. No introduzca discos con grietas o combados en el interior del equipo, puesto que podría dañar la pletina del equipo.

• Evite tocar la superficie grabada cuando manipule el disco. Sujete los discos por sus bordes.
