Este switching hub deve ser instalado e utilizado de acordo com os limites de temperatura de funcionamento (32-131°F) e de humidade (10~95% sem condensação) especificados.

zNão coloque objectos em cima do aparelho.

zNão obstrua os orifícios de ventilação nas partes laterais do aparelho.

zNão posicione o aparelho perto de fontes de calor, tais como aquecedores, radiadores nem o coloque sob exposição directa do sol.

Evite a entrada de água e humidade no interior do aparelho. Se necessário, utilize um desumidificador para diminuir a humidade.

2.Ligação a dispositivos de rede

As portas RJ-45 no switch suportam a função Auto-MDI/MDI-X, que permite utilizar cabos straight-through ou cross-over para ligar este switch à estação de trabalho ou ao hub.

Ligue uma extremidade do cabo de rede à porta RJ-45 no painel posterior e ligue a outra extremidade do cabo de rede à porta RJ-45 no dispositivo de rede. Siga o mesmo procedimento para ligar todas as portas RJ-45 do switch.

Os cabos de rede UTP devem estar em conformidade com as especificações EIA/TIA 568 e com a norma Categoria 5 para transmissão de dados de 100 Mbps. Comprimento máximo: 100 metros, entre o switch e o dispositivo ligado, utilizando o cabo UTP.

Assim que o cabo de rede estiver ligado a ambas as extremidades e o dispositivo de rede ligado estiver activado, o LED LNK/ACT LED verde deve acender-se.
