Power saving function
Suppressing the power consumpt ion* reduces the carbon dioxide emis sions. This product is equippe d with power
saving function.
Power Consumption when main power switch is Off: 0W
Equipped with main power sw itch.
Turning off the main power switch complet ely shuts off power supply to the monitor while the mon itor is not
used.
Auto EcoView function
The sensor on the front side of the monit or detects the environme ntal brightness to adjust t he screen brightness
automatically and comfort ably.
Excessively high brightness may lead a d amage to the natural e nvironment as well as to your eyes. Suppr essing
the excessively high brightness wi ll be helpful to reduce the power consu mption and the damage to your eye s.

EcoView Index function
This indicator shows the power savi ng ratio, power reduction and CO2 reduct ion as a result of the brightness
of the monitor. You can realize the power consumption re duction by taking consider ation in the ratio of power
saving.

NOTE
This monitor support s the Portrait/Land scape display. This function al lows you to change the orientation of the
Adjustment menu when using the monit or screen in vertical dis play position. (Refer to “To set the orientation of
the Adjustment menu [Orientation]” on page 26.)
For using the monitor with “Portr ait” position, the graph ics board supporting por trait display is requir ed. When
placing the monitor in a "Port rait" position, settings of your g raphics board need to be change d. Refer to the
manual of the graphics board for d etails.
