34 WARRANTY INFORMATIONS
Major Appliance Warranty Information
Your appliance is covered by a one yea r limited warranty. For one ye ar from your origina l date of purchase, Elect rolux will repair
or replace any parts of th is appliance that prove to be de fective in materials or workm anship when such appli ance is installed,
used, and maintained i n accordance with t he provided instru ctions. In additio n, the magnetron tube of yo ur appliance is cove red
by a two through five year limite d warranty. During the 2nd th rough 5th years from you r original date of purcha se, Electrolux will
provide a replacement m agnetron tube for your appli ance which has proven to be defe ctive in materials or workm anship when
your appliance is insta lled, used, and maintain ed in accordance with the pr ovided instructions.
Exclusions
This warranty do es not cover the following:
1. Pro ducts with original ser ial numbers that have been r emoved, altered or cannot b e readily determined.
2. Pro duct that has been transf erred from its original ow ner to another party or r emoved outside the USA or Canad a.
3. Ru st on the interior or exterio r of the unit.
4. Pro ducts purchased “as-i s” are not covered by this warrant y.
5. Food l oss due to any refrigerator or f reezer failures.
6. Pro ducts used in a commercia l setting.
7. Servic e calls which do not involve malfuncti on or defects in materials or work manship, or for appliances not in o rdinary
household use or used o ther than in accordance wi th the provided instructi ons.
8. Se rvice calls to correct t he installation of your appl iance or to instruct you how to use yo ur appliance.
9. E xpenses for making the ap pliance accessible for se rvicing, such as removal of t rim, cupboards, shelves , etc., which are
not a part of the applianc e when it is shipped from the fac tory.
10. Service calls to repair or r eplace appliance light bul bs, air filters, water filter s, other consumables, or kn obs, handles, or
other cosmetic part s.
11. Labor or in -home service cos ts during the additiona l limited warranty pe riods beyond the first ye ar from your original da te
of purchase.
12. Pickup and delivery costs; you r appliance is designe d to be repaired in the home.
13. Surcharges includ ing, but not limited to, any af ter hour, weekend, or holi day service call s, tolls, ferry tri p charges, or mileage
expense for service ca lls to remote areas, including t he state of Alaska.
14. Damages to the finish of appliance or home incurred during transportation or installation, including but not limited to floors,
cabinets, walls, etc.
15. Damages caused by: servi ces performed by unau thorized service com panies; use of parts othe r than genuine Electrolu x
parts or parts obta ined from person s other than authorized s ervice compani es; or external cause s such as abuse, misus e,
inadequate power supply, acci dents, fires, or acts of God.

CUSTOMER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE R EMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARR ANTY SHALL B E REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS
PROVIDED HEREIN. CLAIMS BASED ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICUL AR PURPOSE, AR E LIMITED TO ONE YE AR OR THE SHORTEST P ERIOD ALLOWED BY LAW,
BUT NOT LESS THAN ONE YE AR. ELECTROLUX SHA LL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQU ENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
SUCH AS PRO PERTY DA MAGE AND INCIDEN TAL EXPENS ES RESULTI NG FROM AN Y BREACH OF THIS WR ITTEN L IMITED
WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIE D WARRANTY. SOME STATES AND PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW TH E EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION
OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO
THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WRITTEN WARRA NTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL
RIGHTS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Keep your receipt, delive ry slip, or some other app ropriate payment reco rd to establish the warra nty period should ser vice be
required. If servi ce is performed, it is i n your best interest to obtai n and keep all receipts. Se rvice under this war ranty must be
obtained by contacting El ectrolux at the addresse s or phone numbers below.
This warranty only ap plies in the USA, Puerto Rico a nd Canada. In the USA and Puerto R ico, your appliance is warrante d by
Electrolux Major App liances North A merica, a divisio n of Electrolux Home Pr oducts, Inc. In Canad a, your appliance is wa rranted
by Electrolux Canada Cor p. Electrolux autho rizes no person to ch ange or add to any obliga tions under this war ranty. Obligations
for service and part s under this warranty mu st be performed by Ele ctrolux or an authorized s ervice company. Product fea tures
or specifications as d escribed or illustrate d are subject to change witho ut notice.
