The Settings sub-menu

•LANGUAGE
To set the language of the text line in the display; also see the section “Resetting the language”.
•WATER HARDNESS
To set the value for water hardness electronically (value range 1 to 10).
•RINSE AID
To activate or deactivate the inflow of rinse aid.
•SOUND VOLUME
To set the sound volume of the acoustic signals (value range 0 to 5); at 0 the acoustic signals are switched off.
•BRIGHTNESS
To set the brightness of the display (value range 1 to 10).
•CONTRAST1
To set the contrast of the display (value range 1 to 10).
Adjusting an option/setting
1.Go to the option or setting you want to adjust.
2.Press the OK/START button. The value currently selected will flash.
3.Use the direction buttons (
or 
) to select the value required.
4.Press the OK/START button. The newly selected value will be lit up con- tinuously.
5.You can use the direction buttons (
or 
) to select another option or setting.
3 By pressing OPTION a selected value is entered. The display will show the first entry in the options/settings menus.
3 You can use the key combination RESET to cancel a settings procedure.
