When “M” goes off and °C starts blinking, the unit is ready for measurement. If the room temperature is below 32 °C, it shows L °C.

You can take the measurements orally, rectally or axillarily.

a)If you use it orally, keep the sensor under the tongue and close your mouth for more than 1 minute. Normal temperature 37.0 °C.

b)If rectal use is made, introduce the sensor behind the sphincter and wait for at least 1 minute. Normal temperature 37.6°C.

c)For axillary use, dry the armpit, place the sensor against the skin and fold up the arm. Measuring time about 10 minutes. Normal temperature 36.7°C.

When the measurement is over, °C stops blinking and emits several beeps.

The unit has a built-in fever alarm. The audio signal starts at 37.5 °C.

If one wants to carry out other measurements, it is advisable to switch the unit off and then on again.

The last reading remains in its memory and is displayed on being used again.
