SPECIFIC SAFETY ADVICE

Do not use any accessories that were not included with the device.

Allow the device enough time to cool down before storing it.

Do not immerse the motor unit in water, dough or other fluids. Danger of electric shock!

Never use the device on or above cooking surfaces or open flames.

Danger of injury: Never reach into a rotating beater or dough hook!

Keep your clothing, hair, the power cable and cooking utensils clear of the beater or dough hook while the device is in use.

Always turn off the device first if you want to exchange any accessories.

A maximum time of 3 minutes should not be exceeded when using the device. If you wish to continue using the device, allow for at least 10 minutes of cooling.

The motor is significantly strained when mixing very thick mixtures.

Under no circumstances insert forks, knifes or similar objects into the rotating parts.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE

Remove all packaging materials.

Clean the device prior to first use (see CARE AND MAINTENANCE).

OPERATION

Beater: The beater (7) is suited for beating the white of eggs, cream, cake dough, puree, meat stuffing, pudding, apple sauce, etc.

Dough hook: The dough hooks (8) are suited for beating heavy or thick dough, such as yeast dough.

Beating or mixing: Hold the mixer in one hand and attach the beater (7) or dough hooks (8) to the anchorages

(5) on the bottom side of the device: The end of the beater (7) or dough hooks (8) must click into the slots of the device. Push the beater (7) or dough hooks (8) into the device until you hear a click.

Note: When using the dough hooks (8), the hook with the metal plate must be inserted into the larger anchorage (5)!

Set the speed switch (3) to 0.

Plug the power plug (6) into a suitable power outlet.

Place the beater (7) or dough hooks (8) into the mixture.

Using the speed switch (3), turn the device on. The beater (7) or dough hook (8) will spin. Start at speed 1, to avoid spattering of the mixture. Once the ingredients have been roughly mixed, you can set a higher speed, from

2 - 5, using the speed switch (3). The speed is adjustable at any time:

To mix a heavy mixture, press the TURBO (2) button. The motor will run extra fast now. When you release the button, the device will switch back to the previous level. Do not use this function for longer than one minute!

To end the mixing process, set the speed switch (3) to 0.

Let the beater (7) or dough hook (8) come to a complete stop! Then you may remove the mixer from the mixture and pull the plug (6).

The beater (7) and dough hook (8) can be removed from the device by pressing EJECT (3). The speed control

(3) must be set to 0.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Pull the plug before cleaning the device.

Let the device cool down before cleaning the device.

To clean the motor unit (4), use water, detergent and a moist cloth. When finished, dry the device thoroughly.

Remove the beater (7) or dough hooks (8) before cleaning. Clean after every use with hot water and a mild detergent. You can also put the in the dishwasher.

Do not use aggressive chemicals, benzene, solvents, chemically treated cloths, or similarly aggressive things. These can damage the casing.

Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over at a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. The symbol on the product, the instructions for use or the packing will inform about the methods for disposal.

For the purchased device we provide 2 years guarantee, commencing from the day of sale. During this period we will remedy all defects free of charge, which can be demonstrably attributed to material or manufacturing defects, by repair or exchange.

Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non-original parts, are not covered by this guarantee.
