SETTING THE WAKE-UP TIMES
The procedure for setting the Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 wake up times is the same.
1.) First depress and hold the ALARM 1 button, then press the SKIP FWD.
button or the SKIP REV. to adjust the display forward or back to the correct
Alarm 1 wake-up time. The display will move slowly at first, and then begin to
move rapidly.
2.) Be sure to set correctly for AM or PM. If the AM indicator is ‘On’, the wake-up
time displayed is AM. When the display shows the correct wake-up time, release
all the buttons.
3.) Depress and hold the ALARM 2 button, then press the SKIP FWD. button
or the SKIP REV. to adjust the display forward or back to the correct Alarm
2 wake-up time.
To check the wake-up times just press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button at any
time. The display will show the wake-up time as long as the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2
buttons are depressed.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO

1.) Slide the function CD/FM AUTO/AM selector switch, located on the right side
cabinet,to the FM AUTO orAM position.
2.) Press the POWER ON/OFF button on the top panel to turn the system ëOní.
ThePOWER indicator comes ëOní.
3.) Tune to the desired station by slowly rotating the TUNING control on the right
side.If you tune to an FM Stereo station the FM ST. indicator will come ëOní.
Note: If you tune to a weak or distant FM stereo station the tuner may
automaticallyswitch to the FM Mono mode to provide better reception, but
thesound will no longer be in stereo.
4.) Adjust the VOLUME control to the desired level.
5.) When you are finished listening press the POWER ON/OFF button on the top
panelto shut the radio ëOffí.The POWER indicator goes ëOffí.

Hints For Better Reception

FM ñ Adjust the position and
directionof the FM lead wire antenna
until you find the position and
direction that provides the best
reception.
AM ñTh e AM ferrite barantenna
is inside the cabinet. If the AM
reception is unsatisfactory try
rotatingthe entire cabinet slightly
untilthe internal antenna picks up
thestrongest signal.
