PROGRAMMED PLAYBACKUse the Programmed Playbackfeature to play up to 20 tracks on a disc in any
desiredorder. You may also program a particular track to play several times within
aprogrammed sequence if desired.
Note:You cannot program a disc while it is playing. Press the STOP button
tostop playback and then follow the programming steps below.
1.) Load your disc as usual and wait until the display
showsthe total number of tracks on the disc.
2.) Press the PROGRAM button on the front panel.
ThePROG. indicator flashes and Track number
ì0î begins flashing in the display.
3.) Press the SKIP FWD. or SKIP REV. buttonsto select the first track
numberto be programmed.
Example:Track number 7.
Whenthe desired track number appears in the display press the PROGRAM
buttonagain.
Track 7 is now entered in Program Memory
numberì 01î. The Track number display returns
tothe flashing ì 0î.
4.) Repeat step 3, selecting a different track number
eachtime until you have entered up to 20 tracks
inthe program memory.
To confirm the program after you have entered the last track press the
PROGRAM buttonrepeatedly. The display will scroll through all the tracks you
programmedin sequence.

5.) When you have completed programming the desired tracks press the PLAY/
PAUSE button to begin programmed playback.
The PLAY/PAUSE indicator comes ëOníand the
PROG.indicator continues flashing.
Playbackwill begin on the first track you programmed and will continue until
thelast programmed track has played.
6.) When the program is completed the player stops and the display again briefly
showsthe total tracks on the disc and then returns to the correct time. However
theprogram sequence remains in the memory.
Torepeat the program sequence press the PROGRAM button and then press
thePLAY/PAUSE button again.
To cancel the Programmed sequence from memory,press the PROGRAM
button and then press the STOP button while the player is stopped. The
Programindicator goes ëOffí.
ProgrammedPlayback may also be canceled by switching to Radio function,
opening the CD door, or pressing the POWER ON/OFF button to shut the
powerëOffí.
PROGRAMMED REPEAT PLAYBACKYou may use the Programmed Playback and Repeat features together to
continuouslyrepeat a programmed sequence.
Firstprogram the desired sequence according to steps 1 through 4 above.
WhenProgrammed Playback begins press the REPEAT button twice to select the
RepeatAll Tracks mode.
The REPEATand PLAY/PAUSE indicators
remainëOní.The PROG. indicator flashes.
Theprogrammed sequence will be repeated continuously.
