Pre-setting Stations In The Tuner Memory

This system includes a 20 station preset memory. You can store up to 10 FM stations and 10 AM stations in the tuner memory for immediate recall.

The procedure for storing stations in memory is as follows:

1.) Follow step 3 under Listening To The Radio on page 16 to select the first station you wish to memorize.

Example: FM 103.5 MHz.

2.) When the desired station appears on the display press the PROG(PROGRAM)/ MEMO. button.Example: FM 103.5 MHz.Manual backgroundManual background

P 1.” indicator appears and the “MEMORY” indicator flashes in the display.

3.) Press the PROG(PROGRAM)/MEMO. button again to enter the desired station in preset memory number 1. The “MEMORY” indicator stops flashing.

4.) Tune to the next station you wish to memorize.

Press the PROG(PROGRAM)/MEMO. button and then press the PLAY MODE/MEMO UP button to advance the preset memory number from “P 1”. to “P 2.”.

Press the PROG(PROGRAM)/MEMO. button once more to enter your station in preset memory number 2.

5.) Repeat step 4 using the PLAY MODE/MEMO UP button to select a different preset memory number each time until you have entered up to 10 FM stations in the tuner preset memory.

6.) Press the Manual backgroundManual background STOP/BAND button to switch to the AM band and follow the same procedure to enter up to 10 AM stations in the tuner preset memory.
