4.1. Internet Connection Type

￿Select your Internet service WAN type

￿This device supports several types of Internet / WAN connections:

ODHCP Connection (Dynamic IP address) – Choose this connection type if your ISP provides you the IP address. Most cable modems use this type of connection.

OPPPoE (Poinit-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) – Choose this option if your internet connection requires a user name and password. Most DSL modems use this type of connection.

OPPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) – Choose this type of connection if your ISP requires you to use PPTP. Your ISP should provide you with a user name and password.

OStatic IP address – Choose this option if you have a dedicated IP address.
