Windows System Requirements

To use your printer and its software, your system should have:

■A Microsoft® Windows compatible PC with a Pentium® III 800 MHz processor (Pentium 4 processor, 2 GHz or faster recommended)

■Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, or Windows Vista

■512MB RAM (2GB or more recommended)

■300MB free hard disk space (1GB or more recommended)

■SVGA monitor with at least a 256 color display

■CD or DVD drive for installing the printer software

■USB connection requires a computer with preinstalled Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, or Windows Vista; a Windows-compliant USB port (Windows-compliant Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port recommended); and a shielded USB 2.0 “AB” cable. Using an improperly shielded cable or a USB 1.1 cable may cause the printer to malfunction.

Macintosh System Requirements

To use your printer and its software, your system should have:

■Macintosh PowerPC® G4 733 MHz or faster, or Intel® Core™ processor

■Macintosh OS X 10.2.8, or 10.3.9 to 10.4.x

■512MB RAM (2GB or more recommended)

■300MB free hard disk space (1GB or more recommended)

■SVGA monitor with at least a 256 color display

■CD or DVD drive for installing the printer software

■A built-in USB port (Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port recommended)

■A shielded USB 2.0 “AB” cable. Using an improperly shielded cable or a USB 1.1 cable may cause the printer to malfunction.
