4.2.2.2 Bi-dPrint Alignment Adjustment from theControl Panel
1. Turn the printer on while pressing thePAUSE button to put theprinter intoBi-D adjustment
mode.
2. The printer printsout a guide sheet,containing 25 patterns inSuper Draft mode.
3. Look for the pattern most closelyaligned on thesheet.
4. Press the PITCH button until thelights match thosefor the best-alignedpattern on the guide
sheet.
5 Press the FONT button tosave your selection.The printer thenprints 25 patternsin Draft print
modeon the additional pages.
6. Return to step3 of this procedure toadjust thebidirectional alignment inDraft mode.
7. After you perform steps 3to 5 above for Draft mode, goback to step3 to adjust NLQ mode.
8. When you have madeyour last selection inNLQ mode, turn theprinter off to finish the
adjustment.
To adjust your printer, follow these steps
1. Look for the alignment pattern that is most closely alignment and press the Pitch button until the lights
indicate the appropriate pattern number as shown below.
2. Press the Font switch to resister your selection. The printer prints additional pages that display alignment
patterns.
3. When you have made your last selection (sheet LQ), turn the printer off.
