Recommended Settings

Getting the best scan depends on several factors, including the quality of your original and the resolution you select. The better your original is, the better your scan will be. You can make many corrections in your scanning software (EPSON TWAIN or SilverFast SE). For additional photo retouching, use an image editing program such as Adobe Photoshop Elements.

If you want to manually adjust your scan, try the following settings:

Viewing on screen or the Web: 72 to 96 dpi

Sending and viewing on e-mail: 96 to 150 dpi
