Connecting a Parallel Printer
Connect one end of the parallel cable to your printer, as described in your printer manual. Connect the other end to your computer’s parallel port and tighten the retaining screws.
Then connect the printer’s power cord to the printer (if necessary) and to an electrical outlet.
