Formatting a CF Card

Formatting will delete all the data on the CF card.

Caution • Do not open the CF card cover while the card is being for- matted. The card may be damaged and become unusable.

• Formatting will delete protected data too.

zSelect [Format Card] on the [Set-up] menu.

Setting the Date Style

You can set the style in which the date is displayed on the camera. Choose [mm/dd/yy], [dd/mm/yy] or [yy/mm/dd].

zSelect [Date Style] on the [Set-up] menu.

xUse the four-way controller ( ) to change the date style.

cPress the OK button.

The camera is ready to capture or play back images with the selected date style.

memo The time is set by [Date Adjust].

Changing the Date/Time

You can change the initial date and time settings.

zSelect [Date Adjust] on the [Set-up] menu.

xPress the four-way controller ( ). The date screen will be displayed.
